ok, FINALLY had a chance to sit down and work on my retro valve. In following BlackVCG's advice, I pushed down on the bolt (new AGD long-nose) with my squeegie, and the leaking stopped. I replaced the PT o-ring, but it still leaks until I push back the bolt. (.215 spacer is in right now, but it does it no matter which of the spacers I have in.) Should I replace the spring? (It's as new as the valve, and still extends well beyond the end of the bolt.)

          I don't think it's the spring. I suspect my on/off on mine.
My problem is now intermittent. Still awaiting the arrival of my parts kit.

maybe its the spring inside the Power valve, its very small... it could possibly be grinded on the side where it is placed against the o-ring, try flipping sides of the spring and put the smoother surface of it against the o-ring

              Krafty,
I also had my Retro-valve leak straight fron the box. The air would just flow down the barrel. My problem was not the PT spacers but, that I was using a preset screw in N2 tank. What needed to happen was that I needed to give the valve a burst of instant 850 PSI to set it. Not a slow pressure that screwing in your nitro tank does. I got around this by buying a pro-connect. I hope this helps.

You guys check and make sure you have rail bushings? :)

This is the same problem I had, which was caused by a missing rail bushing...

Thordic is not very intelligent, don't mind him.
Is your trigger rod hitting the back of the trigger if you pull the trigger all the way foward when the gun is gassed up. It should't be, and this might cause this kind of thing. Could it be a worn sear or bolt also.

Jon at AGD pulled through (Thanks Jon!). I got my spare parts and replaced the O-ring on the on/off top.

So far so good. No more leaks!

Hopefully this will remain as such.
