    E-Mag gone haywire

My E-Mag has been giving me trouble with what seems to be short stroking since I've bought it three months ago. The problem seemed to be getting worse, so my local paintball dealer told me to put an RT O-ring kit in it and that may solve the problem. Well, it did seem to improve but that was only temporarily. It still seems to short stroke (by the way this is in E-mode & Hybrid mode) with or without using paintballs. My problem has gotten worse, the LED display is doing weird stuff. It will come on for a second then a blinking line comes across. The gun will not work in the E-mode at all now. I am wondering if the circuit board is bad now. I feel pretty sure now that I will have to send it in to let the Pro's look it over. Any help before I send it in would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Take off your left hand grip pannel. Look at the screw that holds the board to the grip frame, and make sure it is in tight. This is the ground for the board, so you need to make sure that there is a good connection.

Although I can offer you no insight to your problems, I do have empathy for you. I had a MicroE-Mag That wouldn't fire in E Mode. After 3 months of BS PTP replaced it with an AGD E-Mag. Your best bet is to call AGD, and get an RA#. They'll make it right for you. They're good like that

        Good Luck

i dont know a whole lot about emags as far as fixing problems, but from what i read here, most problems can be fixed by making sure you have the black quad oring in the on/off, making sure that all connections are good, and making sure that the trigger magnet is not adjusted too far in. thats all i can think of at the moment. just check that stuff... might be the cause of the problem. if not, i'd call AGD.

Sounds like you don't have the latest software update. It should be 1.37 do you have that?

I have the 1.37 version. I called and spoke with a AGD Tech to better describe the troubles that I have been having. He quickly assured me that they would take care of it and gave me an RA number, but I forgot to ask about how long the turn around time might be. I don't want to rush by no means, just wondering. Thanks for all you guys help! I'll keep you posted of things to come.
