How can I get a grip on my mag?

I want a foregrip on my mag, just so I can hold onto something to keep the balance of the gun. Can someone tell me what I need to buy to accomplish this...?

    By the way, it's a 68 Classic.

You'll need to get a vertical ASA and a gas-thru grip. the grip will screw in to the ASA, and the ASA bolts onto the rail of the gun. I think theres a little hole on the rail that you have to punch out in order to bolt the ASA to the rail.

Putting that ASA there won't make the air go thru that will it?

Or will it still be going through the valve out the back?

The ASA has a place where you attach a hose. this hose goes from the ASA to the valve. so the gas goes from your tank, through the grip, through the ASA, then through the hose and finally to your valve. Look at some pictures of a stock minimag. That comes with a vertical ASA and shows you what the hose looks like from the ASA to the valve.

You can get a foregrip that bolts on right infront of the grip...the mag has premade screws for this...these are cheaper than an asa set up but having the gas run through the grip is nice. I think pbgear has mag foregrips with the screw....

Yeah, you can get those. I guess they might work well; but i always had problems with them, because every one i owned came with a plug that leaked whenever i gased up. But i could have just got bad grips. Those are cheaper though.

SpecialBlend, I think Farnja means plain old non gas thru grips. Benchmark makes them, but they're big honking heavy deals. PTP makes them, or at least used to, and those are lighter in comparison. SP used to make them as well, but it may be hard to find them now.

Gumby, your air will go wherever you run your hose. So if you run it into myour pants that's where it goes. :)

                Check this out:

This foregrip sounds like it just screws right in, and you don't have to run your air through it, am I thinking right?

check out Rouge Factor's Featherweight foregrips. They screw right into the rail and are very light and comfy.

even though i dont like the company, the smart parts gadet grip is very nice, not to big not to small and has room for a barrel plug, also same size screw hole as mag screw

I think I'm gonna stick with the RF foregrip. I've heard good things.
