    old RT o-ring folding problem

    I need some suggestions

The middle o-ring on my RT's bolt locking screw, the one the gas is fed through, keeps folding up into the threads above it.

None of the other RT owners I know have ever had this problem.

my guess is my pressure is too high entering the gun...

    Any suggestions...

If you agree on the reg. which do you suggest, I'm looking at a THOR right now

Id say forget the Thor...what is the output pressure of your tank?

That banjo bolt and rail was redesigned a long while ago...do you think there is a chance it could be the original? Whats the serial #?

It happens. You need to get your rail replaced.

I had the same problem with my RT I called and they said it mite have been a defective rail. They told me to send it in and they replaced it. So give them a call and see what they say.

Thanks for all the help, I stripped the gun down and looked at the rail some more and it shows a little wear...

                  I'll give AGD a call

There was indeed a batch of bad RT rails. The main problem was that the sear pin hole was drilled off, but there are some that have banjo bolt problems too. AGD will get you a replacement.

i am having similar problems with my rt tried new banjo and nothing called agd they said it was probably a defective rail i dont know what the replacement will cost on this part but i am not happy with these problems so far and i refuse to pay for agd mistakes i know they upgrade the old rt for 325 to ule and x-valve but whats the situation if i need a new rail also? well like i said im gonna call agd and see what the heck is going on here and keep every1 here posted

                        SCOTT

p.s. seems agd is keeping this defective rail buisness underwraps

Its not so much under wraps, as i heard it, it is just a really old design that they phased out due to problems, i sent mine in and they sent it back working, first things first make sure you crank that field strip screw in tight with an allen wrench, if that doesnt solve your problems than look to AGD

Heres my opinion on the exchange program, save the 325 dollars, add another 200 and go buy a RT pro, that way you have a backup and a fully upto date warrentied gun
