    Classic R/T Problem

I have an LX R/T Classic. I haven't shot it in forever as I now have an X-Mag. Trying to gas it up for AM2 at NJ AO III, it refused to fire at anything less then 350 FPS. I fed it a ton of oil. Someone said to check the orings.

My question is which ones? LX, Banjo Bolt, Valve?

This is wierd, it will work, just at too high a pressure.

    Any help would be appreciated!!!

I'd say you have a leaking regulator seat oring.
Except for the Automag in front, its usually the man behind the equipment that counts.

I don't hear anything leaking out though. It just won't recock and fire unless the pressure is way up!!

Sorry, I missread the symptoms. I though you meant it would always fire but the velocity was above 350fps.

What size of bolt spring are you using? If you are using one of the longer springs, put in the shortest spring and try that.

the bolt might not be coming back all the way so it gets stuck. The high pressusre most likey lauches it back to the bolt FULLY recocks to be fired. I dont know I dont have your gun in front of me, so...

I have the longest spring in there. I'll change it out and try the smaller one. Thanks!
            I'll let you know.
