this leak has REALLY got me!

    Setup: ULE Body/Intelliframe/X-Valve
    LX 1.0 Carrier/2 Shims (X-valve shipped with the 1.0)
ULT 1 LX Shim, 2 ULT Shims
    15+ Cases of paint through

Problem: Alright when I put my ear next to the feed neck I can hear a tiny leak. It's more of a squeaking than a hissing leak. The problem is that I CAN'T get rid of it. I have tried combinations of shims with the 1.0, .5, and 0 carriers and I can't stop the leak. I even tried starting over with a new LX o-ring and still no luck. I'm not completely sure but it doesnt sound like the leak changes any when I go down to the .5 carrier or the 0 carrier. I'm sure that it's not something external like a gas line or ASA. I never had to go down a carrier once the o-ring broke in, I've kept the 1.0 carrier in that the x-valve shipped with. But like I said, going to the smallest carrier makes no difference. I have no idea what's going on here, can anyone help?

Also, when I pull the trigger and hold it the leak stops. And I've made sure to lube it up real nice.

i think there is something about leaks that stop when you hold the trigger in the video, if i can remember correctly it's the powertube o-ring. But if it's not check the video out i know its on there.

More specificly, the o-ring from unscrewing the whole power tube, not just the tip. If thats not it, try changing the o-rings in the on/off assembly
Sadly the mag is gone, moved on to an LCD Trix

In the automag video they're using a mag that's not a level 10. So the only o-ring in front of the on/off assembly is the LvlX carrier o-ring. Also, I have a brand new ULT on/off assembly in.

so try replacing the power tube tip o-ring, the one around where the power tube tip screws in. That seems like the only one they say in the video that you have that could cause this leek. I know they are using a level7 mag but its the only place i could find a possible answer.

does the powertube unscrew where I have it marked in the picture? if so, is there any o-rings in there that might need replaced? I'm going to call AGD on monday and try to get a replacement o-ring to put on the LX powertube tip and see if that helps. Is the o-ring on the LX powertube tip a special o-ring or is it an o-ring that I might already have?

nah, the powertube tip o-ring is the o-ring on the part that screws into the tube. You normally use a coin to tighten it and in that picture it is covered by the bolt. To get to the powertube tip o-ring take the tip off and it's by the threads. it look like this

first make sure that the level ten is in correctly and everything (teflon oring and such)and make sure the teflon oring isnt damaged or torn(i dont know if that would make a difference), then try taking all the shims out and gas it up, this is to make sure the leak isnt caused by the shims, if its still leaking maybe try to go to a lower carrier with no shims... if its still leaking try oil, or maybe theres to much oil in there collecting dirt and dust. after youve done all that, then maybe check your power tube to see if there are any cracks, after that im stumped
