Bolt stick on a mag?

This problem just arose with my mag. During rapid fire, the bolt will pinch a ball. I'll have to push that ball past, and then the mag will leak when the trigger is not being pulled.

As for the leak, I checked the power tube o-ring, and it's fine.

I've also got a small vid of the leak.

Any ideas?

*edit* forgot to add I'm using an older retro valve, no lvl x.

90% of all bolt stick problems I've come accross could be solved by a thoughal cleaning. :) Give it a try.

pinching...

if you are pinching balls, you must have level 10. If so, it sounds like you don't have enough shims in there. You need to have the proper number of shims to allow the bolt stem to vent when pinching a ball.

Take off your powertube tip and drop two or three shims in there. Should take care of your problem.

Nope, no lvl X.

I'll give it a good cleaning and see what happens.

Cleaned it, and now I air it up, it'll fire, but when the trigger isn't held it leaks like a mofo. Looks like the bolt is still sticking a little.

Any ideas? I can get a video if someone can host it.

If you have a leak and it stops when you hold the trigger back you have a bad o-ring in your on/off bottom. Replace that o-ring and the leak should be eliminated.
