Level 5 or 7?

How do you tell the difference between a level 5 and level 7 bolt? I'm just curious since I have an old 68 Automag (not classic). Thanks.

The powertube assembly is different.

I think in the level 7, the power tube is threaded in and held by locktitie. You can't turn it out.

I think the level 5 is held in place by a removable clip.

What is your serial number? The level 7's have been manufactured for a long time. I'm betting you have a level 7 mag that was manufactured before the star system was introduced.

Except for the Automag in front, its usually the man behind the equipment that counts.
