    I Need Help Installing Parts!!!

    i bought a boomstick and a shocktech dropforward for my Automag Rt/Pro.

    Can somone please tell me how you put the boomstick on with automag threads, i have noticed that mine does not line up correctly with the hole where the paintball enters from the powerfeed to the barrel leading to the ball not entering the inside of the gun to be shot out.

    My Other question is about the shocktech dropforward, there was no nuts or bolts that were given inside the package with the drop forward in it, can someone please tell me how to install this thing on my gun.

    is the barrel just a little off or is it way off if you see like half of the hole in the barrel ur useing the wrong twistlock slot[the slots on the barrel] they come in hopper left or right or combo or center feed and you need to right slots in the barrel to match your gun, you may need to return the barrel and swap it for one with the right slot if is a little off depending on which direction you can tap a VERRY SMALL divit where i should be and that will fix it but use a drill press and use EXTREME CAUTION and almost no pressure

    as for the drop it should have come with screws if it dident take it back for one with screws if you cant do that go to ur neerest pro-shop and ask fro the right kind of screws take the drop with you and make shure the screws are long enough if they dont have the screws or flat out can get them then they probibly arnt worth you time and money, find somewhere else.

    goodluck and you can pm me with any questions[pertaining to mags or most other non paintball stuff] anytime

      hrmm, i can try to help.

      first off, what feed is your body?

      standard (hopper right or hopper left), powerfeed (hopper right or hopper left) or centerfeed?

      you should be able to line up the barrels 'thread' with the twistlock, and then just turn the barrel one direction or the other, this depends on the thread of the barrel through.

      if it looks like this:

      ................|
      =========|
      ................|

      (ignore the "." they are just there to fill space)
      you should be able to turn it left or right to match up with the hole.

      some will look only like this:

      ................|
      =========|

      and have usually on another part of the barrel another groove that looks the same. just put that into the twistlock and turn till it lines up.

      with the drop. just grab some small short screws, usually same ones that already hold your ASA (duckbill maybe) and use them to screw in the drop. If you dont have an extra set, youre going to need them to screw on your ASA to the drop.. that is unless your drop has a built in ASA

      good luck, hoped that helped.
