RT Pro w/LX fail to fire intermittently

Velocity is at 275 with short spring in LX, input pressure 800. Flatline tank with a proconnect in line to vent pressure. Valve/bolt clean and oiled.

The marker fails to fire after resting for a while. Once a game starts it is usually OK, but I have to pull and reconnect the air to get it to start shooting.

Have a slight leak down the barrel, so Idon't think the carrier is too tight.

Any ideas?

Aww c'mon, you know I had to say that.

I'm not sure exactly how the valves work, if they take air to maintain a steady pressure, or if they just refill after firing. If they will not fill up as the air leaks down the barrel, that may be the issue.

Air down the barrel with level X usually means one of two things. Either the carrier is too loose, and a smaller carrier needs to be used, or the orings on the outside of the carrier are letting air past. You ca also try adding/removing shims to try and solve the leak.

Were you one of the people making fun of my Viking? I sure hope not, as I'm gathering ammunition to use against everyone...

I think it happened when I loaned it to Zaust. No amount of oil can overcome that.

Ug, that explains it. Zaust puts the bad JoJo on every marker he touches. After he shot my Viking, it spontaneously caught on fire!
