I just got the xvalve yesterday. I have 2 shims added and medium spring. When I gas it up it starts to leak down the barrel and has bolt stick everyonce in awhile? Do I change the oring carrier size to a smaller one in order to stop the leaking down the barrel and bolt stick or add another shim to the ones I already have now? Plz give me any advice in order to stop the leak down the barrel and bolt sticking. ALso does the ULE trigger will work on the X valve and how would u install that? is there any shims u have to add on that new ULE trigger? THanks!

What kind of leak down the barrel are you getting? If its constant and you're sure the carrier o-ring is broken in properly you should go down a carrier size. If the leak out of the barrel is slight and inconsistent, I'd remove LX shims... I read somewhere that most guns don't need any shims.
Yes you can install the ULE trigger in the X-Valve. Tune your LX first, then follow BlackVCG's instructions which can be found eariler in this thread. -
RE: Level 10 problem!
Well I am also getting bolt stick to. WHen I dry fire the marker, I do get a leak down the barrel everyonce in awhile, after shooting about a few times it does it again. ALso I chrono my marker and it is set to 250fps around there, Do I change bolt spring, in order to make the velocity go up around 285fps? I will change the carrier to a diffrent size and see what happens.Comment

Okay -- No worries.
First, remove your barrel and fire the marker. Do you still get bolt stick? The LX bolt is a little larger at its tip and may be sticking on your barrel... make sure this isn't the case before proceeding.
Next remove a shim from the power tube. Do you still get the occasional barrel leak? The only time you need to go to a smaller carrier is if you get a pretty constant barrel leak. I try to tune my LX to use the largest carrier I can without getting a constant leak down the barrel.
Last, Which spring are you using? The X Valve should've come with 3 different springs; small, cut and large. If you are using the largest spring you'll have a hard time getting the velocity very high. The spring controls the rate the bolt will be reset if it encounters any resistance before a ball is moved into firing position. In other words, the spring controls the sensitivity of the LX. My suggestion is that you should use the smallest spring and only switch to the cut spring if you break a ball in the breech (not in the barrel).Comment
