    Custom Products, Lapco, and PMI

Well, in the search for a barrel, I have found these 3-

    Lapco Bigshot
    Custom Products one piece
    PMI Perfect bore ceramic

I am interested if any of you have had good/bad experiences with any of these...I will be shooting medium paint....PMI Premium/Big Ball

I know this has been brought up so many times...I know, cause I did a search

I partly did this to find out about the Perfect Bore barrels...The ones in ceramic are .689-.690 and only like $30!!!! If this is a quality barrel...it is definitely worth it...I was wondering if any of you guys have one of these barrels?

Right now I have a DYE Excel...and it is a good barrel, but it uses too much gas, and I think is just a tad too big(not exactly sure though) and am looking for a 10 incher. Thanks guys for any input!

Ive never shot a pmi before.... But I love Lapcos and CPs. They shoot as well as barrels that are 2, or even 3 times the cost! My bro has a 10" CP on his mag, and a Lapco on his Prolight. I've got Lapcos on both my mag and my carbine. I love them.

I love lapco barrels, I have an aluminum bigshot and a stainless autospirit. They are the best barrel for the money IMO. I never used the other barrels that you asked about but I have used a sp boss progressive, and dye stainless fairly regularly but I love my lapcos.

        I have shot...

the PMI and the Lapco. The PMI is a nice barrel because it is imbedded with teflon to muscle through ball breaks. But mine clattered a little when I put it in. To solve this I put a layer or two of teflon tape OVER the nubbin but under the barrel Orings and that quieted it. It is light accurate shoots pretty quietly. Be careful to make sure you put your nubbins in correctly so that the bolt doesnt fold it over and damage the finish inside (shouldnt happen though...just a precaution).

I also have a Lapco Big Shot Stainless. Another very good barrel. Also pretty accurate. It shoots as well as barrels costing much more money.

Between the two I would probably get the cheaper of them.

Get the CP!! They are so accurate it's not funny. They look really good too, so many choices of colors are available. Get the CP man, it will work out...

Thank you for your offer, but I think I am first going to get a Lapco. If or when I do decide to look into the CP, I am thinking either a 10" or 12", cause I have a 14" X-cel and that is a little long for me. Thanks though
