Current set up is X valve/ULE body/blah blah 68/3000 psi preset tank. And it does not run under 1000 psi, or if it does the recharge time takes like 10 seconds then it will fire again, but other than that the trigger just stays pressurized. Is this normal?

if you can, try a different nitro tank. sounds like your tank has some regulation problems.
if it is not the tank, check the x-valve's reg seat and piston o-ring. (that is prolly not the problem though)

Check your Level 10 o-ring fit. If it's too tight, it will increase the operating pressure and the gun will cut out at a higher pressure than it should. The loosest fit that doesn't leak is what you want. The ideal fit is being able to hold the bolt at the top of the PT and drop it and it should come all the way down and hit the bumper. If it stops before it gets to the bumper, there's too much o-ring friction.Comment
