    Level 10: Not a problem, a querey..is it normal...

Hi Guys..ive been around..just not posting...
I have had LX in my RT for a while now...but ive never changed the carrier...I understand that the o-ring wears in, then you put that o-ring on the next size up carrier...?
Ive not done a thing to my LX (not to say im completely happy with the marker) except put a shorter spring in...i wentr to chrony it at the start of summer and i couldnt get it to work below 340 fps...
So, is this normal or should the oring be changed..it isnt leaking as far as i can tell.
    Cheers

After the oring wears and starts to leak go to the next smaller carrier. If it's not leaking or giving you bolt stick then it doesn't need changed. As for springs, I always use the middle one. :)

yeah, might be getting a bit of stick, tho i have doubts about my air system, old guvnair....
got the middle spring in it..
Ive put a set screw in the dbl trigger of my intelli, to take up some slack, i knw they say you shouldnt but it seems to work ok..can you suggest any problems that might be caused by that?
i think its very reactive... also i think the on/off pin is quite short..what might that cause...cant remember the length but was considerably shorter than stock.
      Cheers

You kinda went in a circle and answered your own question there. A shorter on/off will increase reactivity. Not sure about problems related to the set screw. I'm scared that I'll ruin mine so I don't go near it w/ the drill If you are having bolt stick I'd try a little more oil before switching carriers. (if it still sticks then go up one carrier) Mine started sticking the other day after a bit of play and I blamed it on a rise in temp. and humidity. I put a drop or 2 of oil down the tube and everything was fine.
