    A.I.R. Valve in an E-mag?

I was wondering if I could put my regular minimag valve into an e-mag. I would like to know because I'm planning on buying an e-mag in January (My wife won't let me until after Christmas) and some times I have to run CO2. If I can't I would just use my minimag on days I can't get compressed air (not very often but it has happened).

Techincally it can work, but don't do it. You'd have to make sure you're using teflon o-rings in the AIR valve, match the on/off pin length to the gun and deal with the sear sticking at times in E-mode because you need the quad o-ring, but can't use it because it will freeze with Co2.

Your E-Mag was meant to be run off of compressed air only and use only the RT valve that it comes with. The MinMag was built to run off of Co2. Just deal with not being able to use your E-Mag the one day you can't get compressed air.

Yes they do, but they're still intended to be used with compressed air.

It kind of seems a contradiction. An emag can shoot so quickly that running C02 would be a big hindrence to your game. Even if you only shoot in short burts, you would have bad velocity spikes and drops.

            That's my $0.02 anyway
