    If you polish aluminum what steps do you have to take to keep it from oxidizing a coating or a wax to have it stay shiny
    I think there for, I am I think. am I?

    You could annodize it clear, but Im pretty sure that it isn't as shiny in that case. Basically if you keep it clean, then you only need to just clean it with some polish every once in a while. (I have polished aluminum wheels on my four wheeler, and even through the dirt, and dust, I've polished them once in 2 years. And I can still see myself in them.)

      but are your rims anodized? If I remember right aluminum oxidizes fairly fast and will wind up with white dust stuff and pitted unless coated.
