    help with detaching hose from dovetail

    how do you take off the steel bradied hose off the dovetail? is it like a screw but locktighted(glued)? can i use a wrench to take it off? cause i need to move the steel braided hose to a drop forward

    nevermind i got it off had to heat the dove tail so that the seal on the hose would melt it was some sort of gel

      Loc-Tite

      Its a thread sealent called loc-tite. Ususally not used on bottomlines because you get the same effect with teflon tape. There are many strengths of loc-tite. Sounds like there was red (many strengths of reds also, but whatever is most common form of red loc-tite) loc-tite on your threads. Glad to hear it came off.
