    super bolt

on the superbolt is the center shaft drilled out to decrease weight. also how do the delrin sleaves stay on the bolt do you have to glue them or just friction or what. also is it possible they could come off when usinf the gun?

    also

is the superbolt a long nose? with reduced blowback. and is the long nose bolt more effecient. has anyone noticed a increase in velocity switching to a longnose bolt if so by how much.

Yes, the center shaft is drilled out. The delrin sleeve is secured by a couple ribs on the exterior of the underlying steel portion of the bolt. And they are of the 'extended nose' variety.

Does the Superbolt decrease the amount of recoil based on the "less moving mass" principle?

Thanks- I guess even if this bolt self-destructed, it would only result in a stoppage, rather than damage. I need info on how to get one......

As far as I know the super bolt is back to the drawing board due to a wear problem.

The Superbolt is on sale at AGD for $50. Just call them and I am sure they will be more than willing to sell one to you.

                          new bolt design

It seems that you're trying to improve bolt performance by decreasing the weight as well as the friction. Both of these were done using the delrin sleeve, but there was a problem with material failure. How about changing the shape of the bolt so that the sides are slightly concave. This would reduce the mass and by having a smaller portion of the bolt in contact with the gun also reduce friction. Any thoughts?
