LX Middle (Cut) Spring

I've been using the cut spring in my LX setup since I got it a year ago.

I've now gone through (Broken) two cut springs. Is anyone else finding them a little fragile?

It has happened to others. That's why AGD now has one the proper tension/length without a coil cut off. New Level 10 kits are coming with the new mid spring- colored red.

Ah cool. I knew the new ones were comming proper, didn't know the cut ones lost strenth because of the cut.

Mine bent/broke near the top (Opposite end from the cut) actually...

I wondered why mine didn't come with a cut spring! Of course, my middle (red) spring wouldn't fire the gun, so I couldn't use it. The short (gold) spring worked, but seemed to be a little hard on the paint, so I cut my long (silver) spring down.

If it ends up breaking in the future, I always have my red spring I can cut down... and as a last resort, I always have my short spring.

usually upping the velocity will allow the gun to fire with the longer springs in it.
