    E-mag problem, need help!

I'm sure this a stupid question, but I havn't found exactly what I'm looking for yet.
I just bought a Pro Team Micro E-mag w/ Level 10 installed (used). Everything works fine, except when after few rapid shots, the valve starts hissing, sounds like its coming out the bolt. If I half-pull the trigger or stick my finger in there against the bolt it stops. I figured it was a LX problem, but I don't know for sure. Can someone help me get my expensive new toy to work?

I just got back to mags, so I don't know if this is right or not, but it doesn't seem like the bolt goes back after the lvl 10 kicks in, like it's not realeasing the air. If that's the case then maybe put another shim in? Also, it doesn't seem like a carrior O ring because it's not continous, but again, I'm not totally positive. Hope that helped.

Start by removing all of the shims from the LX setup. Unscrew the PT tip with a wrench and pull the shims out that are above the carrier. You might need to pull out the carrier to get them out.

A few other things to check... make sure the sear axle pivot is fully tightened. You need a plain end screw driver to tighten it on Micro E-Mags. It's on the side of the body towards the rear. Also, make sure the field strip screw is tightened with an allen wrench.

If you still have problems, check the fit of the carrier o-ring by sliding it back and forth on the PT. If it feels like it's really stick, try increasing the carrier size until it starts to leak. Use the SAME o-ring when you do this.

I had this happen after a couple of cases of paint in my Rt Pro. Try moving down a carrier size, see if that helps.
