Pull off the grip panel with the display cut in it.
Look on your board for a small loop of wire, this is the jumper. CAREFULLY remove it from your board to disable the modes. Let me know if you need a more specific explanation.

I thought that I read something about there being a toggle switch between electro and manual. Is there?

Yea, there's a switch right by your thumb (for righty's) that switches from electrical and mechanical. With the battery powered in mechanical it's hybrid mode. With the battery turned off it's pure RT mode in mechanical.

ahh but by tripping the jumpers you will eliminate 2 steps in one so to speak.

Just to clafify, the jumper is a loop of wire on the circuit board that you remove to disable 3 and 6 shot burst modes which are illegal in tourney play. He did'nt ask how to disable electronic mode. Was that the confusion?

Yes, I figured that the switch just eliminated electro all together, never having been privelaged enough to see an EMAg up close and personal. Just using common sense and what I read to see if I was right. But that does make sense about the jumpers BUT...isn't that some work? No easy 1-2-3 switch up? I guess if it is illegal in tourneys then there is no need for a quick switch in-between modes then. Hmmm, thanks for going the extra mile to clarify. I hope to get an emag soon too man...hope santa clause sees just how good I've been.

Heh! I hope he gives me a HALO so I'll stop outshooting my hopper with my E-mag.

You can switch to the burst modes through some buttons on the back of the frame. Removing the jumper just eleminates the capability to switch to those modes while on the field. If it was still in people would be on their honor not to switch to an enhanced mode while playing and some just people just could'nt be trusted not to do that.

Hope you get your Christmas wish. I'll put in a good word with the fat guy if I see him.
