    Automag Boomstick Question

I have an older glued boomstick for my automag and was wondering whether they work for centerfeed bodies too, or just hopper left/hopper right.

Generally, HR and HL barrels do NOT work with CF bodies. Some barrels can be custom drilled to work with CF bodies, but you have to know what you are doing and the groove must have been cut originally in a certain manner to facilitate this mod. There are a few people on the boards who probably can drill your barrel to accept CF bodies. Do a search for it.

Side note: I have a CF Dye boomy for sale in this thread:http://www.automags.org/forums/showt...threadid=99034

PM me if you are interested.

I had the same problem, I received little to no help when I ordered my barrel on line (from the worst paintball store in the village). I really didnt like the idea of having to drill something as finite as the barell positioning hole, so I returned it. I did call Dye and ordered a boomstick specifically for the center feed. (That did not work either)...the barell was a fraction off, and would not drop balls. So..."Completely frustrated" that I could not find an extended barrel without any modification neccessary, I spent even more $ and went with the ULE...screw in barrels work just fine.
