X-mag Problem

I have a pewter x-mag. I had a bit of a problem the triiger frame actually cracked around the magnets. I returned it to air guns and they said it can't be warrantied. I was just wondering if anyone else has had any problems. and do you think i should make a fuss and try to get agd to warranty it?

do you have a picture of this area in question? I am assuming the area right on top of the frame? I would like to see a picture of this "crack"... did it come this way or is it something that happend after some use? If it came that way I dont see any reason for it not to be taken care of from AGD...

i have no picture i don't even have the gun right noe air gun has it. The un has about 60k shots on it, but i first notices the ring being worn in the body( just above the trigger below the eye) around 30k sots. I thought it was just the anodizing coming off but then it cracked. It actually cracked in a perfect circle around the return magnets.

Agd said it was the first one they have seen do that so they can't warranty it i need to pay $175 for the new fraom and wait for 3-4 weeks

not under warranty because its the only one that they have seen? weird.. if i was a company i'd actually repair that for free..

well nick o time i didn't have a chance to call cause of school but i'm goin to call today if i get a chance. i'll check on 3.o if i find out ill post. plus i'm going to fight for it to be warrantied because up until this agd was gret with customer service

you should, i would too. i dont think i(or you in this case) should pay for something when its the FIRST they've seen happen, so obviously it has to be some type of problem with how that particular frame was made.

then again, how rough to you put your gun through? still shouldn't matter tho

well i called agd and....... the tech that worked on my gun is sick so the sub could not tell me why it was not warrantied. so i have to wait till the tech isn't sick, but they said my gun should be back in 2 weeks

Oh yeah <nick> i ask 3.0 is not out yet but the guy said it should be out soon.

since i don't have my X and have a tourney on sunday i geuss i'm going to have to be a gun slut and take what i can get. Its not all that bad Ill prolly use a laysoya timmy so i geuss it cold be worse. I f i have to use a cocker i'm screwed.

where is my gun

well its been almost six weeks since i sent my x-mag in and i still haven't gotten it back. Plus i called to find out why it wasn't going to be covered under warranty, but the tech working on my gun was "sick" so i hleft a couple messages to have him call me but no calls yet. So if any airgun techs or any one from agd reads give me a hand.
