sorry if this is a stupid question, but can an emag with an x valve in it still fire in e mode? What is the difference between an emag vavle and an x valve?

Yes it can still fire in e-mode. Now there is no difference, the new E-mags come with an X-valve.Sadly the mag is gone, moved on to an LCD Trix
