    Emag brainstorming....

The emag noid pulls right? it doesn't push? there are noids that push right?

I had an idea, although it was probably already thought of and struck down, i'd still like to do some more thinkin on it.

Another thing, how much force is needed to push the on/off pin up in a normal on/off and a ULT on/off?

A push type solenoid typically has less power than a pull type for the same size.

The emag uses a pull type solenoid.
Except for the Automag in front, its usually the man behind the equipment that counts.

so could you get a push type solenoid that exerts enough force to push in a gassed up mag on/off pin by itself? (of course it would have to be able to sit inside a frame)

do that then the emag lost its ability to switch from electric to manual, and that reason is one reason why i go with the emag.
