    Is ULE body & x valve worth the upgrade?

    I at a crossroad. Do I upgrade my 68 classic to ULE body, new barrel and trade up to an x valve? Or do I just get a whole new E-Mag for a little more money. I am to the point of losing sleep. My 68 Classic has been very good to me!!!!

    XValve trade in = 225
    ULE body = 150
    Total = 375

    Sell your classic = ~200
    Used Emag = 600-650
    Total = 400-450

    25-75 bucks difference...I'd say EMAG

      The ULE would also mean more $ spent on another barrel(s). An option not presented was just trade up to the X-valve! That's what I would suggest, and perhaps a frame, intelli or Y!

        yeah, if you get an emag, you'll want to go ULE on it as well, so it might cost you even more than 5-600 to set up.

        Although, i went emag and i've never looked back. Love it dearly.

          In the long run u will probably go e-mag any way. Jus tskip the middle stops and go for the best...I did and am perfectly happy.

            I agree. You will feel the urge to go electro soon enough.

              i regret trading in my old minimag calve for my x. the x has no signifigant performance gains on my e-mag (both shot 16bps), and i cannot feel the weight difference. i could have better spent my $275, like on a ule and a barrel. am i happy with the x, yes. was it worth the money, when the gun is limited to 16, no. now, if i handt built the e-mag, and kept it mechanical, it would be well worth the money. and now that the e-mag is barely ever getting used, i really wish i hadnt bought the valve, as crazy as that might sound.
