classic valve going full auto, need advice.

I need some help guys and gals. I usually know most of the problems a Mag can suffer, but for some reason I am having a brain fart.

    Situation.

Classic Valve, first the bolt would stick forward and vent air. I tried all the spacers and it didn't help. I then switched to a stronger spring. Bold will now re-set it self as it should, however when I pull the trigger the valve goes into full auto and stops when I release the trigger. The sear is old, but that is not it since I threw in a retro valve from another gun and it shoots fine.

I tried every spacer again to fix the problem, but it will not stop. Luckily this is a back up to a back up so it is not a major problem for me. However I would like to figure out what the deal is with it.

    Any help would be appreciated.

Check and make sure you didn't chop your on/off pin in half.

That was my first thought, It is still intact. I did chop the white o-ring and had to replace that.

I would change the sear. The fact that it did work on the retro valve is not a clear indication that it was not the problem. The on/off assemblies are different for both and thus will react differently.
Except for the Automag in front, its usually the man behind the equipment that counts.
