    Help with elcd Install

I'm still fighting with the elcd install on my RT. Right now I've got it so that it'll fire if I manually push the solenoid. I can't seem to get in touch with hostage, who apparently is the house expert. Does anyone have any other ideas?

I've got a fresh 9 volt in there. I've oiled the on/off and the bolt thinking maybe it was just too much friction. I haven't chronoed it. Is it possible that there's too much pressure? Although I would think that it would leak out the reg if that were the case.

[edit] I just tried it again after changing the lvl 10 carrier to perhaps reduce friction although now that I think about it it would have to be friction in the on/off or in the sear that would cause this. Does anyone know any other way to lighten up the trigger pull?

    GERRRRR.

    Thanks for any help.

    Mike

give the ULT a try........its a 15 oz trigger pull as opposed to 5LB. the noid may have an easier time with it.

I can't. The ULT says that it won't work on my RT because it only works with the valves that have the two o-rings at the bottom and mine only has the one.

[edit] Ok, here's what I found out. I found a place that will install a ULT on my RT for $100. I don't see why this wouldn't fix the problem, but I'm just very scared to do that because it would really be a one way street. They have to mill out the frame to be able to do this and that's freaky.

      Advice?

oh, another thought... the elcd came with it's own on/off. Would the ULT change undo anything that the elcd's on/off changed?

I guess the only thing I know about the on/off assembly is that it controls what happens when you pull the trigger. Does it do anything else?
