    PTP Emag problem....

i know you dont really associate with eth PTPs much, but i figured you guys are the place to go. here it is. my RT pin in the PTP EMag screws itself back into the sear while i fire. this means that i can get 3-4 shots off in RT mode before the pin is back too far into the grip to be of any use to me while i am playing. usually this is not an issue as i use electro mode, but my battery did die on me in the last game and i was useless b/c i could not fire a shot. any ideas? would putting some teflon tape on the RT pin do the job? thnaks!

oh, also, 1) how many shots should the battery be good for? 2) how long do i need to charge the battery in my car? and 3) if i were to go to radio shack and buy a wall plug, what volage would i want on it?

    thanks for the help!!

You will need to set the trigger pin length and loc-tite it so it won't move. I don't know what the proper length is, though.

The battery is good for 20,000 shots. I charge mine before every day of play, though. Charge it untill the green light comes on, then 2-3 more hours of trickle charging.

      I use Radio Shack #273-1776, with adapter plug "M" (273-1716)which is a 12v 1000mA power adapter, $14.99.

You can also use #22-501, an AC to DC power supply. It has a cig lighter female socket, $9.99

thanks, ill get to work on that today. any suggestions for how to adjust it? i have a hard time getting my pliers into the grip frame around the solenoid, or is that the only place to adjust it?

and RS:#273-1776 is a wall charger? ive got a car charger, but i dont drive the car long enough in a week to fully charge it between plays

You really should remove the sear assembly to adjust it. The E-Mag video shows how to properly remove it. (AGD will send you one if you call and ask them :) )

Remove the sear pin, the 2 screws that hold the trigger frame to the mainbody. Then remove the circlip on the solenoid plunger, and wiggle the sear assembly out the top of the trigger assembly. Measure with calipers to set the length. (Maybe someone else can pipe up with the proper dimensions)

The length is very important for proper function.

Here's a pic of the wall warts...
