    Consistency Question

What can I do to improve my consistency? I have a ULE body, Classic valve with LX. The LX is tuned right, although my effencentcy kinda sucks, but I just want to know how I can get more consistant. And yes I know my spelling sucks.

I see the x-valve is coming soon that should make a huge dif. Along with the x goes compressed air between those two things you should be straight.
anyone who tells you there are no such things as stupid questions is lying to you so they can laugh at your questions.

Try replacing your regulator seat. This should help with you consistancy problems.
I'm a lefty that plays with an old school RT with H/L. I bought a warp and all is right with the world.

first, how bad is the consistancy? +- 5, 10?

are you using co2 or HPA?

it can jump as much as 15 fps or more sometimes. I replaced the reg seat when I put in the LX and I am using HPA. My valve is kinda old (MM11500) so I guess that could have something to do with it.

it dosen't matter how old it is if the part in it are in good working order.

did you check the reg piston? if that is sticking a little once and a while it can cause that. I assume the HPA tank you have is a good one? good paint to barrel match?

do you see this flux when shooting slowely or fast?

it is usually just when I am shooting slow. I don't shoot fast over the chrono. My tank is fine and I'm not sure about my paint-to-barrel match.

next time you play, make sure you have good paint, with a good match, that can make a big difference in consistancy right there. if it is still bad, check the reg piston, reg seat, and air lines. maybe borrow a different nitro tank just to rule that out

Personally I think you're wasting your money if you put money into your reg right now. You'll be replacing that w/ the new valve anyway, so just save that money up a bit quicker and deal with what you have. That way you can afford to get your X-valve sooner :)

I don't know much about how to help you, I just thought that if the problem was in your current valve, to suggest that you deal with things until you can get the X.
