warp in the way of fill nipple!

I haven't got my new warp yet, but i know it will be in the way of the fill nipple. I know this becaus ei'm left handed, and the fill nipple is to the right side of the gun prqactically straight out. and i'm not sure if putting an o-ring in where i screw in my tank will put it in a good enough position for it to not to be un-reachable. I have an impulse with gun mounted max-flo. and a pmi Pure energy 68/4500. any ideas or solutions will be greatly appreciated.

When you get the warp just try it out it shouldnt hit the fill nipple of your tank because the mounting plate (agd) comes out of my gun with the sides of 3 1/2 and 2 inches which means its angled into the gun so it should clear your tank.

You could try a 90* SS fitting rated at 5000psi to "re-locate" your fill nipple. I think the one you want is called a "street" fitting, it has 1/8' male on one end and 1/8 female on the other. Good Luck

exchange your fill nipple and your pressure gauge. Then you can be like the rest of us "warpers" and have to contort your marker in wierd ways to see what your pressure is. I have done this with my nitroduck and my flatline. No problems. USE TAPE or it will leak

switching them sounds a little tricky and dangerous, sure it will work on a pmi???

if it is a screw in tank, just dont screw it in as far. you dont have to screw it in all the way. just about 1/8 turn past the point is gasses up.

                piccolo,

It is not dangerous. Common sence rules apply as it is VERY high pressure. Make sure there is NO air left in the tank, make sure nothing gets in the holes for the gauge and fill nipple (from what I was reading oil could detonate under pressure, I don't think that is possible, but I would not take a chance either)

My duck leaked when I did it twice before I got a good seal the flatline was perfect the first time.

standard threads for the gauge and fill nipple are both 1/8" NPT so they are interchangeable.

A good wrench is all you need to solve your problems (and maybe someone else to hold the tank down)

when i had to change out my low pressure guage, all i used was a 6" cresant wrench and teflon tape. i held the tank myself, but a lot of cursing helped hold it down too
