Which Barrel!

Hey Boys just wanted to know what barrel yall think is the best for a mag.

Ill give you some info about me so yall can base your opinion on my style.

I can tell you right now I want a 14" or 12" nothing else

when i buy items i think of how it will effect my tourny play not as much rec play.

Boys on my team say im going to be playing tape (5man) But i am so small there might be times that im going to be the farthest man up there.

I want to be able to play rec with the barrel as well

Well what do yall think?

Please don't take this the wrong way, but you really should do a search on this topic. This same question gets asked at least 3 times a week on this forum. There are already hundreds if not thousands of posts about choosing barrels.

Now, that being said, I would recomend looking at the LAPCO and CP barrels. For the money they are hard to beat. But keep inmind that choosing a good barrel is really about finding a good paint to barrel match. If you are not on a tight budget, the the Smart Parts Freak is your one "one size fits all" solution.

Also, you should read Tom's tech tips about barrels. This will help you understand what barrels are all about.

If playing Rec ill be shooting marbelizer or Team Paint
and money isnt that big of a deal but i dont want to get a freak

instead o f buying deluxe freak try the basic system. also inserts are only 25$ a piece. 1 barrell couple of inserts, then if you want a smaller/larger barrel, get a new tip, 50$. i have one with 3 tips and two backs, 1 for minimag, 1 for impulse. 16 different barrell configs!!!
