AO: We are back from the dead... again! After an 18 day outage, we are finally alive and well. Who knew how complicated updating software/databases from 2008 would be. I still have alot of tweaks to make, but my main goal was getting everything patched and updated to 2026.
Vbulletin 6 has changed alot since 2008 so we will have a ton of new features to dig into.
Im looking at an e-mag with z-grip (what the *chuff*?!?!), but that dose not sound right. I have never heard of this. am I wrong or is this guy trying to rip me off?
well its real easy to put a z grip on the emag, you just can't fit the electronics in it too. Basically it just makes it a big RT-pro with a z-grip. Really stupid to do if you ask me.
Sadly the mag is gone, moved on to an LCD Trix

You'd have to use a smaller solenoid, a la Hyperframe. This wasn't realistic before because of the force needed to actuate the valve and the size of a solenoid you would need. Now, with the ULE on/off this changes, as you should be able to get enough force behind a smaller solenoid to actuate the valve with the now much lighter pull. It obviously won't be as fast, but 30bps is a little unrealistic for the project anyways. I have no idea how fast this will go.
Go for it. At worst, you end up with a Z-gripped mag.
