Is this mod just wiring up two nine volts in parellel. Is there any thing else to do?

2 9V's paralleled would just give you 9 volts. I'm thinking that you were thinking of the 12V mod, which requires a little more components, I'll get you a link.

no i was thinking paralel for just nine volts. should give me more battery life. but when i did this the first time i went to play the board burned up. i have been told that the part that burned up is a voltage reg. i only put nine volts to it so i dont know why it burned up. I work with 24volt systems on const equipment so i know the difference between series and parelel. just mad that my new warp burned up and i have not even got to use it yet.
