I would have to say I agree with The Mad Painter. If folks want to tinker, then let them, and don't for a minute think that it can't show benefits.

Not to offend anyone that worships at the alter of AGD, they build what is in my opinion, the premier marker on the market but nothing is ever at its peak operating performance. There are always improvements that can be done.

For anyone that thinks this may not be true, I encourage you to visit: http://hybrid.honda-perf.org. The folks there are doing things with engines that the honda engineers never envisioned. Don't think for a minute that the engineers are not listening, because they are.

To think that one person or a small group of people have the best and only way to accomplish a task is vain and foolish. But hey, I could be wrong its just my .02

One thing that I have noticed before was that raising the velocity to something like 300fps has a definetly harder pull than a velocity of 280fps. Maybe you just have the velocity too high, I dont know. Make sure everything is clean and all rubbing surfaces on the trigger assy. are oiled slightly.

if you turn ur velocity up alot then it is harder to pull on the trigger, and it will go forward more after each pull. If you have ur velocity on low i do believe it is much easier to shoot, in expert games the player's velocity is very low, cause i watched the guy shooting balls from an autococker and they traveled like 20 ft. but they do it so they can get faster BPS output and as the ball loses velocity, it drops down, which is good for hitting people behind a bunker. :)

im not an expert i just think thats why they do that

i doubt if the ball goes 20 feet, it will have enough inertia to break. plus, i also doubt u could get the right trajectory unless u have a sideways or upside-down flatline or z-body.

You can improve the stock mag slightly.

Trigger jobs are possible but require many measurements in diff. places, not for your average guy then not many people able to do this will do it though so I would say leave it stock.

You can replace the on/off in a mag with an rt on/off assembly, only thing is you will need to fine tune the length of the on/off pin, shorten it if I remember right. This will make your pull slightly softer (not drastically though).

Adding to an earlier point, post counts mean nothing foo has 1500+ posts but there is little substance to most of his posts whereas bill mills has fewer posts but says a lot more worth hearing.

actually a paintball breaks easily, i throw paintballs at my friends with my hand and it breaks on impact :) so seeing as the balls go like around 20 feet they would break on impact...

20 feet must be an exaggeration. If you lower your velocity to about 250fps from using the gun at 300fps for a game or two, you'll be amazed at the difference of the softness of the trigger. Obviously though, if your in the woods 250fps just isn't gonna cut it. Try it with tight speedball games though.

FYI--lowering the velocity helps quiet the gun.

i play tennis so my arms aren't that weak and i throw them at my friends and they don't break. they break on trees or hard stuff. maybe because their clothing is too soft. i don't know i'm posting this at 1:15 central time so i'm a little loopy.

Someone said that the spacer kit doesn't make the trigger pull feel lighter. I don't know if I agree with that. Perhaps mine didn't make it feel lighter, but it certainly made it feel "crisper" which was a massive improvement for me. I first tried adjusting the trigger rod because I assumed that my crappy trigger pull was because of this, but I don't think so. The reason why using the spacer kit helped my trigger pull so much was because there was a spacer in there already - and it wasn't the optimal one for my setup.

At the time I started a poll / thread about the spacer kit and it might be worth giving it a read.
