    Have no idea if this will help or not, but with my old classic valve I screwed it together too far and it was leaking from between the halves. I backed it up a little, and it didn't leak again.
    Sadly the mag is gone, moved on to an LCD Trix

      check to see if you have any cuts in the big fatty oring on the back half of the valve....or was it the front half.....

        I checked that. I also suspect that any cuts would create a consistant leak, not this strange inconsistant leak I'm seeing.

          check your regulator seat that was my prob make sure it is pushed all the way in and it stays in place.
