    Bad gauge

I think that the gauge on my tank is shot. Its a pure energy 68ci 4500psi. Can I change the gauge myself or should I have the local shop change it? If its only a matter of getting a new gauge and screwing it in. I can do it but I was just wondering. Thanks

Just make sure you COMPLETELY drain all the air out of the tank, then it's as easy as screwing out the old one and installing the new. Make sure you thoroughly clean out the threads in the reg.

Thanks. I thought you could just unscrew it but I wanted to be safe instead of sorry. Ya know what I'm saying. Thanks again.

        Most important part!

You may want to use some teflon tape or loc-tite on the threads. If you use teflon tape, make sure you thread it on right. If you dont, small pieces can come off into your air system.
