Loader?

What are everyones thoughts on loaders? Revvy's have brittle Feed-Necks, Egg2's have brittle lid's, and what of the Halo B w/Z software and Rip Drive? I was thinking of getting a Halo B to feed my Ule Bodied, X-Valved, Intelliframed Mag, though I remember reading somewhere that they aren't good for markers w/single ball detents as they tend to push balls right past the detent? And what about the Halo TSA? Anyone use a Halo w/a setup similar to mine?

( Mind you this is all just what I have gathered from reviews and such.)

I use a Halo on my Xmag, as do many people. They work just fine on a single detent gun.

I've been using an Evo II since World Cup last year and love it. Yes I have gone through a couple of lids so far but it feeds well for me and I like where it sits on my marker. I also like the larger ammo capacity that it has over other loaders.

None the less I have some thought on the Halo B and TSA. I like the Halo B because it keeps up better when I am shooting as fast as I can (without rapidfire). The thing I o NOT like about it is that it hold a mere 170 rounds and it rather heavy with 6 batteries (lithium ones help I know). If you are like me at all and waste HUGE amounts of paint (like 1000+ rounds per game) you are going to be reloading a lot which is not fun. and for Hopper ball games, it's that much harder.

The Halo TSA (I have the 220 rounds backman one) is also a great choice. I love that loader because its much cheaper/lighter/hold more/ and keeps up very well. The sounds activation is effective and *almost* keeps up with my 15 bps strings (the lvl X saves be but it also stops the string...). Also having 220 rounds (50 rounds more than the B) is great. not as much reloading and hopper ball is not as bad.

So that may help you out in some way. if you don't need the speed, you might go with the TSA as it hold a lot and works well, but I would never be able to do what you see in the video without that B

Ever heard of a Empire Reloader, they worked out all the bugs of the revys and they are sound activated (not intellifeed needed). They work magic to get one www.paintballgateway.com.

I use a 12 v revy with xboard and intellifed and i love it so i have had not problems.

yeah, but revvies are still just agitated gravity feeders, X-board or not. thus, they'll NEVER be able to compete with a HALO B when it comes to rate of fire. Pay the extra $$ for one now and you won't regret it. Being limited by your loader is NOT fun.

Yea, I shot a halo b on a mag with a festus sluggo body and that had just one detent and it gave me no troubles. I would recommend springing for the halo. I since sold my halo and wound up with an egg, but now that i'm getting an emag ( ) I'm planning on going back to a halo.

I have both a Halo B and an Egg 2. Fyi, I was having a few problems with the stock AGD detents on my ULE body with the Halo B pushing past the detent. I have since gotten a Kila Magnetic Detent, and problem solved. I haven't turned on my Egg since. Some people complain how much heavier the Halo is than the Egg, but someone researched and found out that full of paint and with lithium batteries, the halo is not one bit heavier than the Egg. Plus, I feel that the Halo offers a more balanced setup for me. All of the weight of the egg is behind the feedtube, making for a more back biased weight distribution.
