Lvl 10..err...X-valve problem? No wait..

Ok well at a tourney my mag stopped firing so I figured it was time to drop carriers. I've read those lvl 10 problems thread a million times(give or take). Well I go to drop in the next lower size carrier, take an allen wrench, push it down in there nice and snug and. *POOF*. Yes that's right my carrier is now stuck inside the nice little spot where my on/off goes. What do I do?

    lol

thats a SNAFU now isn't. I suggest a dental pick, or something else that'll get into the center of the carrier and let you pull it up. good luck

Why is your carrier where your on/off goes?

ANYWAY, take your field strip screw. Thread it into the carrier. Pull.

I had this problem. I tried many different things (including field strip screw)and had to use a regular screw, thread it in there and basically tore the crap out of the carrier (Luckily didn't damage the valve or threads in the valve). I strongly suggest using the field strip screw like Dayspring said. Or a dental pick (like trxtr) recommended.

Well the field strip screw method didn't work. And I don't have a dental pick but I have been using allen wrenches. Which don't work. Anything else?

n/m got it. I used a different screw. Kinda like a field strip but longer and thicker. It has now become an essential piece to my "Official Automag Tackle Box"

Why are you putting your level 10 carrier in your on/off hole???

Well let's see first off, if there's a censor, why must a post be edited for language? Oh well, anywayz. Not a tourny, but a scenario. It was at night. I was going to switch my on/off's when the idea to change carriers hit me. I was in a hurry. Saw a little hole, dropped it in, and pushed it in tight. It was the first time I had worked on my mag's level 10 in a few months. It never breaks down. That's why I got a cocker.
