    RT Pro Project

I currently have a high rise RT Pro and looking to put a warp on it as the first mod.

I really like the minimag body, but it looks to be a couple of inches longer than the RT Pro body and perhaps a little heavier?? If I get the minimag body, what do I have to do to make it fit onto my RT body rail. What is it about the minimag body that makes it incompatible?

I was also looking into maybe getting an RT Pro hopper right body for the warp feed.

Also looking to make my gun look all chrome. Do you think it would be cheeper to get it all polished at the shop or buy/trade/steal replacement parts that are chrome and polished looking?

So what do yall think, what are my pros and cons here?

Look on the bottom of your mainbody. You see the round thing that the front frame screw goes into? Well on the minimag this is square and larger. Meaning that there is a circular indentation on the rail, and a square pertrusion on the minimag body, and therefore they don't fit. You might be able to file down the square thing, but I don't think ive heard of anybody doing it and I wouldn't try it as you would probably just ruin the body. Your best bet would be to just buy the body rail as well.
BTW the RT body will work on a minimag because the circle is smaller than the square and therefore fits inside.

Stealing is by far the cheapest.
      Pros:
      All Free
      Cons:
If you get cought you can get in trouble
If I catch you I will beat you with a blunt object of my choice then steal your whole gun

What was said above is true, but a little modding and you are in good shape You can put on a MiniMag body on your RT Pro. They are all compatible and some people have them on their Emags. Yes they are slightly more metal than the RT Pro bodies and that of course makes them weigh more (but not much) Anyhow if you were concerned about the weight issues the ULE Warp body would be your best choice (but that requires a small amount of rail grinding).

Other than weight (the steel AGD bodies and the ULE bodies) you choice is really your preference. Bty if you are looking for a p/f RT Pro body, I have one from my RT Pro in my sig if you want to buy it for cheap, pm me.

All Chrome? well it's CHEAPEST to sit there for hours with some wet/dry fine sandpaper and sand it down then buff it out but you can get all the aluminum parts nickel plated by an anodizer for not too much (perhaps $100-130?)

I guess in final I would ask what you are trying to do? Is this merely an "eye-candy" thing, which is fine, I did that to my Classic RT, or are you trying to lighten/tweak the gun in addition to the looks?
