Since i'm a college student, I play on a budget. Since it seems like you have a perfectly working HPA, why don't you just use that. Unless you want to use the adjustable pressure to adjust the reactivity of the trigger pull, there is really no need to change.

FYI - I saw the AA raptors for $200 on their website. This would ordinarly be a killer deal for an adjustable, but you will noticed that the regulator on this does not have a port for your output pressure. What good is an adjustable reg if you can't see how much pressure you are putting in!!!??? heheheheh

hehe you liked that rapid fire eh? Yeah an ajustable tank really gives you that ability to tweak the way the trigger feels on the RT, softer or harder, you set it how you want. Also if you want to rapid fire, oyu need a high flow rate tank like the new Air America or Smart Parts ones. Again, aside from the trigger tuning, a preset is not that bad.

With the RT and the X-valve the reactivness of the trigger on a manual gun is ajusted by the input pressure. You could therefore ajust the reactivness of your trigger with the tank even not using a guage, and if you are getting shootdown from it then you know your pressure is to low. You could also put a guage inline somwhere.

Tank is pretty much your choice, maxflo is decent. So long as your input pressure is above 600 or 650 it can be whatever your little heart desiers.
