E-mag solenoid

Alrite, today, when I went to air my PTP Micro E-mag, the trigger pin would not set forward. So I troubleshot, and found that the washer-like piece above the solenoid tube was broken in half.

How do I get this fixed, how much will it cost? Is this something I can do on my own? Please please help!!

Will the gun work without it? It seems now that the gun will work in electronic, just not manual...

I would think it would be the other way around, working in manual but not in elec. because the solenoid and plunger are messed up I've never taken mine off and always assumed it's there for a reason. I'd go ahead and get another, and since it's so cheap pick up a few parts you may need later like nubbins, o-rings, screws, a ULE body for me .............
