i keep reading that the extream emag breaches are held in by the cocker threaded barrel. now i have always thought threaded barrels were the way to go the twist lock barrels are the only thing i dont like about my mag. but now, lets say your on the feild with a e-mag extream, and you break some paint (even the best guns do it sometime) you bust out with your trusys pull threw take your barrel out to clean it....and oops your hopper and breach goes tumbeling, hehe or you take them both off the gun when all you want is the barrel...i dont know if that is how the design is or what, but it dosent make sence to me, is there something keepin this from happening that i dont know about or what? the origional idea behind the twist lock design was so that you could change a barrel quickly, but the new design kinda looks like you need to keep the barrel in if you want the breach to stay on your gun...i dunno please tell me what im missin here

extream breach question

The barrels thread into the body, but the end of hte threading seats into a groove in the modular breech, in order to get the breech off, you have to lift it straight off, as its settled into a groove within the body, so it wont slide from side off the side, only straight up, though, despite that, I can see how it could cause from what I can tell some potential problems, then again, I may be missing some aspects of the whole setup, I can see the warp feed module not having as many problems, but I can see a breech with a loader attached when the gun is tilted a little or something like that while the barrel is off, the breech and loader falling off. Keep in mind I never took an extesive look at the whole extreme breech module. -

The breech is held in place by tightening a cocker threaded barrel into the front portion of the body. As the barrel screws through the front a little part of it comes through into the module space and fits into a recess in the breech module. Screwing the barrel in tightly locks the barrel and module into place.
So it is the act of screwing in the cocker barrel that holds the breech in place.

couldent they just use a cute lil pull pin in there somewhere to keep the breach attached while you change/clean barrels? i mean i have never had the need to change breaches on the fly, but every once and awhile i do need to take the barrel out for some reason or another. hehe and i do have a stright shot, and a battle swab, and a t-handle stright shot, ans 3 different pull threws...first off nothing seems to clean as well as a pull threw, and second they all get discarded on the feild as i use them, hehe i have to make my rounds after every game to pick up pods and various barrel cleaning devices
