ACE not working in my xmag

I tried turning my ACE on for the heck of it, plus to get the board to let my rate of fire increase too. But even with ACE on, it will still fire with no problem.

This really isn't a big deal because of LX, but i paid enought money for this baby and i would like it to work. Any ideas?

    did you adjust the sensitivity?
with the sensitivity all the way down you can still fire with nothing in the breech

its a very small flat head screw on the left side of the body, just below the front of the breech.

yeah, i forgot to mention that i had messed with the adjustment. I tried turning it both clockwise, and counterclockwise and it did not seem to make any difference what so ever.

The pot (short for Potentiometer), can spin quite a few revolutions. There is about 20 full turns from one end to the other. You can hear a click when the pot "bottoms" out.

If you adjust it all the way clockwise, it should be the least sensitive. all colors of paint, and when the ball is not totally loaded in the breach.

What you are going to want to do is load a paintball (if its two color shelled paint put the dark side down). make sure your barrel and hopper is on (the ace eye is sensitive to light, so you want to set it up how you are going to be shooting it). Turn the pot all the way counter-clockwise(till you here it click). Then turn it clockwise till it fires, I would do about a half to 200 degree turns at a time and then test it.(good start is about 10 revs in). Turn the marker on, but no pressure, so it just clicks and doesn't actually fire(don't forget to turn the ace on). Dial it in to the limit of where the marker fires and doesn't. when you find that point turn the pot clockwise 180 to 220 degrees.

        Got that all, you done!
