im talking about hte thing in the back, the silver thing(i have a minimag), that the hose to a air goes. i think its called a valve.

and what screw do i unscrew?

I'd probably not take the valve and reg. apart unless you know what you're doing, or there's a problem. For a minute I thought you were talking about removing the valve from the gun, if that's it unscrew the field strip screw on the back of the frame

well the reg body is the very back piece and the part with the line goin into it would be the valve body Without knowing what your really doin I wouldnt recommend taking it apart. To take it apart to get at bolt and spring u just need to take out field strip screw which is under on the back of the grip. Then the whole assembly should slide out.
