E-Mag not firing properly in E-mode

    Hey all,

My Emag's not happy right now. Last time I played it worked flawlessly. When I was getting it ready for the next time, the E-mode wasn't firing correctly. Sometimes it would fire, sometimes it wouldn't. When it would fire, it worked great, and cycled as fast as I could go, when I stopped, it wouldn't fire again. In M-mode, it would fire no problem. I took off the grip and was watching the solinoid. It wasn't pulling all the way down, when I placed a little pressure w/ my finger on the plunger, it would fire great and as fast as I could. Could there be something wrong w/ the solinoid? Low battery (it was just charged)? I'm lost... any help/advice would be great, thanks.

OH, I also just adjusted the trigger, but I don't think it's part of the problem?!

    Thanks
    Nick

That's probably it, especially if it was working fine before you adjusted it and now it's not. Staying to close to the HES and not letting the trigger return far enough away will both cause problems.

      Thanks,

It seems logical that it could be the problem, but like i said, when i had the grip off and put a little pressure on the plunger w/ my finger, everytime i would pull the trigger, it would shoot, and fast at that... so that tends to lead me to think it's something w/ the solinoid or like the on/off or something?!

      THanks
      Nick

I kinda did the same thing when I was adjusting the amount of magnets I was using in mine. I dropped back to one and then realized that i liked 4 better but when I put them in I put them in the opposite way they were before. It was enough to screw the LED up and not let the gun cycle. Tunaman reminded me to go back and redo what I had changed.

I'm having the same problem with my Xmag. I didn't adjust my trigger since it worked the previous time. I think it may be my battery has developed a memory, but that may not be it. Any ideas E/X Mag techies??

You wouldn't happen to know someone w/ an E/X-mag would you? That way you could switch batteries and see if that's it. Otherwise good luck on getting an answer.
