    Twist Lock Assembly

    Worst. Day. Ever.
Putting the twist lock assembly back into the rail...ugh, I hate this design. Anyways, I think I got it in, but not correctly. Does anybody have a diagram of how to put this back in or something? Because, I will post a pic, but the small piece that is suppose to lock the barrel in doesnt seem to be up on the body, but the part holding it in kinda is. Im not sure what it looked like, because I only used it for a short amount of time, but this doesn't look right at all. Anyone could help me thatd be great, thanks guys.

Oh..it shoots da 620:1 .No problemo.

it looks fine, try your barrel out, you mightve hmm pushed it in too far if thats possible?, the bottom seems too wide, see what works maybe back out the twist lock (different view point it dosent look like its in, is this for a minimag? or a rt ) im tell this from looking at my rt pro

(the girl in the picture is pretty dandy lol)

Thanks for the response, but dont ever say that again about my sister..we will have to mag duel if it happens again.

Anyways, heres more pics to possibly clear things up? I really need like a how to guide on this, mainly..because I hate the twist lock assembly with a passion, and get aggrivaed like no tomorrow when working with it. If somebody can tell me what to do now, thatd be great. Oh, and how do I adjust where the little pin thingy goes, because the allen key on the bottom of the assembly seems to be at its max tightness..I even bent an allen key turning it, but the pin doesnt slide up naturally still.

            ???Upside down???

from that last pic, it looks like the twist lock is upside down since the side with the hex screw is pointing up. The "nipple" looking part of the twist lock should be pointing out the top of the body rail where body goes. Try looking at this pic

The hex screw is on the bottom, and the nipple part is on the top. Thats how it is in the pics, sorry for the confusion.

The twist lock assembly should fit so that there is no gap between the bottom lip of the top of the assembly and the top of the body. When the body is installed on the gun, only the spring loaded knob should extend into the barrel area.

Dude, learn how to crop pics.

You need an arbor press to properly these in, but if you don't have one, a drill press with the chuck open just enough to go around the pin will work.
