    quick Xmag/Ace question

ok when you adjust the Ace pot.. is it a one time thing? or do you have to mess with it everytime you change paint colors..

like say i adjusted it for black/deep purple would that be good for any color then?

you should really adjust it every time you use a differnt color paint for best results. But you could set it up with darker paint and just leave it, the problem is a very light colored paint will signal the board before the ball is complety loaded in the breach(LX may pinch). Is it going to be a big problem... I doubt it but you should check.

It says in the manual not to even bother adjusting it, they just do it at the factory, though I would expect this is just a "Basic" adjustment. Easy way to check, go to a chrono area without your hopper on, bring 10 balls, and turn on ACE 2. pull the trigger and hold it-(it should not fire), and drop a ball in, one at a time, repeating with the next 9: pull, Hold, drop. If it fires without the LX resetting showing it pinched, then you should be OK. if it pinches, you may need to readjust it.

Anyone know why some manuals say that ACE 1 is for single color, Ace 2 is for 2 color, and some manuals say that ACE 1 is for adjustment, and ACE 2 is for any color/multiple colors...?
