i feel real dumb for asking this, but i just got a gun with an x valve in it, and i was wondering, where do the carriers and shims go in the level 10?

The carrier and shims go inside the powertube. The powertube is the tube that the bolt slides into on the front of the valve.Except for the Automag in front, its usually the man behind the equipment that counts.
