is an adjustable HPA really necessary?

Question. Since the reg in the mag keeps the pressure at around 400 psi and input pressure is required around 800 why would you really need an adjustable air system? Wouldn't a preset 850 psi work just as well since the reg always keeps it at around 400?

a preset works fine...but if you want to adjust pressure for more reactivity the adjustable reg is the way to go!

If you have an RT/Retro/X-valve you can ajust the reatcivity with the ajustable tank. If you don't have one of those valves the 850 preset is just find an ajustable will do nothing for you.
